Random Wednesday

I'm so glad Shanna is hosting Random Wednesday, because that is exactly how I'm feeling today.



First, thank you all SO much for this-

 You can't imagine how excited I was to see this little blog hit 300. Thanks, y'all! :)

Yesterday I tried a chai tea latte for the first time ever. The little gal that made it was telling me about it and mentioned cinnamon. I thought to myself, "Nope. Not gonna like it," because I'm not a huge cinnamon lover. But you guys, it was really good.

I also pronounced it "ch-I" tea with the soft ch sound instead of "K-I" tea. Oopsies. I'm still not sure which is the correct way to say it. I have the worst time remembering the simplest things.

While grocery shopping at the terrible Walmart the other day, I stumbled upon Sunkist 10. Not diet, but 10 calories. I bought a case, and then remembered I'm supposed to be on a no-soda kick. Then I started thinking about the difference between Sunkist 10 and Diet Sunkist. What IS the difference? I still can't figure it out. (Besides the 10 calories vs. none.) They both have aspartame, so I'm not sure. Anyone?

I was talking about by no-soda pledge and being bored with water on Twitter, and someone suggested that I try La Croix water. I had tried it before and spit it out. It tasted like alka seltzer or something, and I just couldn't. She said I should try again, so I may. The orange sounds good, so I'll try to find that.

Last night, UK played Florida. I was a little hesitant about this game, because we haven't been the best this season. We were having a little comeback when this happened-

The projected #1 NBA draft pick, the guy that entertains all of big blue nation, injured his knee. BBN as a whole is a nervous wreck because we don't know if he's ok, if he'll be back, nothing. We are just waiting. But more importantly, we hope he's ok for him. That looked painful, no? Prayers for #3.

During this though, it was nice to see Noel's teammates come to his side and help him to the locker room.

I was sad to see it raining this morning when I let Mia out to pee, but then I thought, I can finally rock my new rain jacket! I opened the mail this week to this jacket from Marley Lilly.

Not only is it monogrammed, but it's Kentucky blue too. Holla!
